I'm here to help you feel confident and inspired to experiment with different art supplies. It can be intimidating to start painting by hand, so let me guide you, using my 10+ years of experience painting and experimenting. I want to share everything I've learned with you!
I find painting to be so calming and fun...and I want you to feel the same way. I have been a professional traditional artist since 2021, but I have been painting by hand my whole life.
Ever since completing my studies in Cartoon and Comic Arts, I have loved sharing my work at conventions. The course has 6 modules for 4+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone: adults, teens, and children. I recommend you take the course in order, because it will start from the basics and move on to more extensive lessons at a slightly more advanced level.Â

Introduction + inking traditionally

I’ll start by welcoming you and guiding you through what to expect, how to follow the course, and what’s awaiting you. You’ll also get to know a bit about me and why I love to paint the way I do. Then, we’ll dive into the tools you’ll need to ink traditionally.
MODULES 3 & 4
Intro to watercolour + opaque paints

I’ll guide you through watercolour fundamentals and opaque paints like gouache, acrylic, and acrylic pens. You’ll learn how different paints behave, how to use them on various surfaces, and how to begin combining them confidently.
MODULES 5 & 6
Preparation + final touches and cleanup
Â
I’ll walk you through planning your artwork, transferring and inking your sketch, and then building your painting step by step. We’ll finish by adding details, layering materials, and bringing everything together into a finished piece.

We will look together at all the materials you can experiment with, from paper to paints...inks, gouache, watercolour, acrylic markers, and more! Approaching a new technique means first learning how best to use the tools at your disposal. With painting, the options are endless.
Practical tips
Theory is an important tool, but what makes you a true artist is practice and a passion for continuing to learn. I will be providing you with all the best tricks I have learned; I hope they will help you find your inspiration. I will show you how you can make your paintings truly unique to you.Â
